What senior living options are available at Cappella Grand Junction?

With just the necessary amount of assistance, our Assisted Living residents can enjoy their day independently and in harmony with others, free from the chores and cares of household maintenance.

What level of care is right for my loved one?

Honoring each person for who they are and meeting them where they are in their journey is a driving force behind our individualize care plans. Gathering information from many sources, including the resident, family, caregivers and medical teams are all factors when determining which of our three care levels will best suit the resident’s needs.

Can you help if my loved one has experienced falls in the past?

In addition to our personalized care plans, Cappella of Grand Junction offers on site Physical and Occupational therapy, a wellness plan that incorporates balancing exercises, medication review and will request vision and hearing evaluations. We are dedicated to minimizing the risk of fall to our residents.


Assisted Living

What is assisted living?

Assisted Living communities provide Homecare Services and amenities in apartment environments. Homecare Service offerings can range from Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing and grooming, toileting or ambulation to medication management and more. Pricing may vary from base rent plus A la Carte services to base plus Tiers/Levels of Care to All-inclusive. Amenities also vary by community and may include meal plans, laundry and housekeeping options.

What is life like at an assisted living community?

Cappella of Grand Junction’s Assisted Living neighborhood offers the support to enable each person to live their lift to the fullest. With 40 studio, one-and two-bedroom apartment homes, residents live as independently and privately as desired while receiving the support and services they need, as they need them. And, with our easy to understand pricing structure, they can be sure to only pay for the services required.

When does my loved one need assisted living?

None of us like to admit that we need a little extra help from time to time. If your loved one needs support, here are a few signs and questions that can indicate that it may be time to consider assisted living:

  • If your loved one needs reminders to take medication /or their medication is not being taken as prescribed.
  • Household maintenance has taken a noticeable decline
  • They seem more isolated and withdrawn
  • Your loved one needs more help with daily tasks such as preparing meals and proper hygiene Unintended weight loss.

Memory Care

What is memory care?

Communities that specialize in care for those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Communities will provide single occupancy or share apartments, with common areas for dining and activities. These communities are secured for the safety of the residents. Staff is specifically trained for the special needs of this population. Amenities and cost vary. These communities are ideally suited for those who do not need skilled medical care found in a nursing home, but might require some assistance with daily activities. Rates also vary from all-inclusive to base rates with levels of care/point system for care. Payer sources usually accepted are private pay, some insurance plans and some Medicare.

You will have peace of mind in knowing that Cappella specialized in supporting those living with memory impairment through our Rhythms Memory support beliefs. The Rhythms movement honors the individual spirit, life story and choices of the resident.

How is memory care different from assisted living?
