There are a few things to keep in mind when considering pricing of a senior living community, including the many options available to help pay for senior living and how the services and amenities included compare with your current living expenses.

The Costs of Staying at Home vs. Senior Living

Deciding to move to an assisted living or memory support community is a big transition. While it's not possible to put a number on quality of life, cost of living is an important factor in choosing a senior living community. It's understandable to wonder if staying at home would be more economical. However, once rent/mortgage, utilities, insurance, property taxes, transportation, groceries and other household expenses are added up, the costs associated with staying at home might be more comparable to a senior living community than you would have thought.

Ways to Pay for Senior Living

There are many different options available when it comes to paying for assisted living or memory support. First, it is important to see what you or your loved one may qualify for. Some common ways to pay for assisted living or memory support include:

Government Programs – Veterans’ Benefits and Social Security
Insurance Coverage – Life, Long Term Care, and other Health Insurance
Private Assistance – Non-Profits and Foundations
Personal Property – Family resources, private loans and home equity

How Our Assisted Living & Memory Support Pricing Works

Assisted Living

Assisted Living Pricing Based on Level of Care

We believe in a personalized approach to assisted living pricing and only paying for the care and services you need. The base assisted living price includes meals, housekeeping, basic cable, secured WiFi, laundry, utilities, activities and an engaging community culture.

Our care team works with you and your family to determine what additional support is needed and what care level is most appropriate for each person. We utilize three levels of care when additional support is needed. By not implementing an à la carte system, there is flexibility for older adults and their families, as we know care needs can fluctuate. Personal care fees can range per month, dependent on what each individual needs.

Additionally, there is a one-time community fee and pet fee, if applicable.
